That is a wonderful quote! I think of backsliders coming back to God & how one of the battles you go thru in your mind is the fact you can't change the past. But the way it should be looked at is HEY!! Now I CAN change my future. What a wonderful opportunity!!
Wow! Where do I begin? I was born in the heartland of the "dust bowl" survivors, Bakersfield CA, in 1959 and married to a lovely lady, Jana, in 1979. We have three gorgeous children, Bryce, Blake, and Bryn.
I have lived in Europe and Africa and have travelled extensively throughout the world. My wife and I served as missionaries to Senegal W. Africa from May 1980 to November 1981.
I, currently, pastor a wonderful congregation in Delano, CA. I became Senior Pastor in 1994, after the retirement of my late father-in-law, Rev. Paul F. Wilson.
I was the Youth on Missions coordinator for the UPC Western District for 10 years. I currently travel with the WAY choir as the travelling pastor.

I like that quote. We do have the ability to make a change. You just have to have the desire to move forward.

Thank you both for stopping back by and YES we did have a fun day!
As Allan Oggs wrote, "Today is the first day of the rest of your life."
Today--the day of NEW beginnings!
