P.S. I am one of the most guilty about judging people by first impressions. For some reason, I get such immediate strong feelings when I meet someone. I need to learn to give 'em a chance. :)
Wow! Where do I begin? I was born in the heartland of the "dust bowl" survivors, Bakersfield CA, in 1959 and married to a lovely lady, Jana, in 1979. We have three gorgeous children, Bryce, Blake, and Bryn.
I have lived in Europe and Africa and have travelled extensively throughout the world. My wife and I served as missionaries to Senegal W. Africa from May 1980 to November 1981.
I, currently, pastor a wonderful congregation in Delano, CA. I became Senior Pastor in 1994, after the retirement of my late father-in-law, Rev. Paul F. Wilson.
I was the Youth on Missions coordinator for the UPC Western District for 10 years. I currently travel with the WAY choir as the travelling pastor.

That is POWERFUL and TRUE!!!
Thanks Mark-
Not only is it true but it takes us back to the old proverb: "First impression-Lasting impression."
Instantly I can think of people who have treated me with such great kindness, but I don't remember many of their words. This is a very true quote.
