The legacy you are leaving behind -- is it temporal or eternal?
According to Random House Unabridged Dictionary, legacy means:
1. Law. a gift of property, esp. personal property, as money, by will; a bequest.
2. anything handed down from the past, as from an ancestor or predecessor
Are you simply leaving possessions or are you leaving something more lasting?

Now you are making me think. I guess it is time to evaluate. I hope I am leaving an eternal legacy.
Babe- I trust that we can put something into our children that, when we are away from them or are deceased, that they will say, "This was put into by my parents."
Pastor Pryor taught last night... leaving the Word of God to our children. I too have been thinking on those lines the last few days - weeks. Well, we are all children of our Father - doesn't He deal with us collectively at times? That's my thought.
We must prioritize and in the words of Bishop T.F. Tenney, "keep the main thing the main thing!"
There are names and message titles that are an integral part of my spiritual makeup. Giants gone home on whose shoulders the next generation of giants - still with us - stood. Strong meat, we sunk our teeth in it and didn't let go - still feeding on it.
How blessed I have been... you've made me stop and think about the legacy that's been given to me. But now the responsibility rests on my shoulders with my new son to pass on the same truth, full of as much conviction, passion, and solid untainted word as it was passed down to me. I don't want to hand over something that doesn't have the same value as when it was given to me. Thanks Bro.Allard for sharing your thought.
