Chance Of A Lifetime

A day dawns, quite like other days; in it, a single hour comes, quite like other hours; but in that day and in that hour the chance of a lifetime faces us.
- Maltbie Babcock

Sometimes life gives us only one chance at something, and we will never get that chance again. In a single moment we can seize the chance of a lifetime and our lives are forever changed, or we can miss the opportunity and forever regret the missed chance. Every moment of every day, be aware of the chance that life affords you and apprehend that moment. It might be the one chance that you get to make a difference!

Great post. Most of us can point out a few missed opportunities, but we can also point to a whole lot where we took the risk and saw things happen as a result.

Some missed opportunities leave us with a lifetime of regret. We need to walk closer to Him so that we don't miss a chance to make a difference. Great thought and writing.

Great post. Every moment is NOW, just for that moment. May we learn to live in the moment.

Mark-so true. Unfortunately, some aren't willing to take the risk.

Sis. Hopper-Absolutely! Just a closer walk with the LORD is what we all need-then we will take the chance!

Helen-Just keep seizing the moment!

Oui. Il y a des jours que je regrette - un moment échappé ne revient jamais plus.
Sometimes we have to fall hard to learn (some of us were more stubborn than others - like me).

Catherine-C'est dommage que nous ne pouvons pas reprendre certaines moments de notre vie.
